Sustainability

Ethical, Respectful, Honesty, Integrity

We uphold a strong commitment to ethical business practices, grounded in the principles of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code. This commitment ensures employment is freely chosen and free from discrimination, upholding the rights and dignity of all workers in our supply chain.

Our factories are subject to annual third-party audits based on the ETI code of conduct. We take proactive steps to address and resolve any issues uncovered during these audits, demonstrating our dedication to continuous improvement in ethical trade practices.

In our cotton sourcing, we are proud to be part of the better Cotton Initiative (BCI). Our commitment to BCI reflects our dedication to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices. Our involvement underscores our efforts towards more sustainable cotton farming practices and supply chain transparency.

We Are With Sedex

Membership That Matters

Membership demonstrates our willingness to share information for the purpose of helping to manage and improve ethical standards within the supply chain. All Brand Threads’ garment manufacturers are members of SEDEX.

Each of our factories undergoes an annual SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit), aligning with the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code. This rigorous process helps us maintain high standards of ethical trade practices throughout our supply chain.

Since our inception in 2020, we have been dedicated to enhancing the sustainability of our products.

Sustainably Sourced Cotton.

Our approach includes using cotton and polyester that are sourced with environmental responsibility in mind. As a member of Better Cotton, we support sustainable cotton farming practices. Better Cotton is obtained through a system known as mass balance, which means while Better Cotton is not directly traceable to our final products, our sourcing helps support Better Cotton Farmers by creating demand for their crops.

In our polyester products, we are incorporating recycled materials, such as polyester made from recycled plastic bottles, to reduce environmental impact and promote a circular economy.

Our commitment to sustainability is an evolving journey, and we are constantly seeking ways to improve our practices and reduce our environmental footprint.
